The last day for nominations in Bihar for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections is on 28th March. BJP candidates will be filing their nominations in Aurangabad and Nawada for the first phase. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, who has been active in Bihar politics for a long time, was a Central Minister until June 2024. However, he was denied a ticket by the BJP from Buxar. This move has led to questions about whether Choubey has been retired from active politics.

Sayed Shahnawaz Hussain, who has been a central minister and a prominent figure in the BJP, was made the Industry Minister of Bihar in 2020.
