In a major development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a raid at the residence of RJD MLA Kiran Devi in Ara. It was reported that the MLA’s family was not present at the residence during the raid. The raid took place at a residence located near the Gadhani Thana. It is worth mentioning that Kiran Devi’s husband, Arun Yadav, is known to be close to the Lalu family.

Arun Yadav has been under the radar of the CBI for some time now, with previous raids conducted at his locations last year. In January, the CBI team had visited Kiran Devi’s residence and served a notice, indicating possible action against them in the future.

In 2023, the CBI had raided the residence of former MLA Arun Yadav and his wife, MLA Kiran Devi. Arun Yadav is said to be a close associate of RJD supremo Lalu Yadav and a major player in the sand business. He has accumulated significant wealth through his business ventures in Patna. There have been discussions about gifting several flats to the Lalu family as well. The actions by the CBI and the ED are ongoing in this matter.
