Education Department’s Disregard for Orders
It has come to light that the employees of the education department in Bihar do not adhere to the orders of their own department’s higher officials. While the Principal Secretary of the education department, K.K. Pathak, has been continuously giving instructions to keep all schools open and improve the academic system, the principal of a school in Jamui has been refusing to follow the orders of his own department’s chief secretary.
Principal Missing, School Closed
The principal of Utkramit Madhy Vidyalaya Harla in Sadar block of Jamui district has been missing for over a week. Despite efforts by the school teachers to contact him, there has been no communication. As a result, the school has been closed for the past seven days, causing inconvenience to teachers and students who are unable to access classrooms for learning.
Call for Action
The teachers of the school have raised concerns about the situation by sharing videos and informing department officials. They have also informed the Block Education Officer in writing about the school’s closure. Students and teachers continue to show up at the school daily, but are unable to mark their attendance due to the school remaining locked. The District Magistrate has appointed a District Education Officer to investigate the matter and take necessary action.
