Tragic Incident at Wedding Ceremony

In Ara, a elderly woman passed away after consuming contaminated food at a wedding ceremony. During treatment at a private hospital, she succumbed to respiratory failure. The deceased, Basanti Kunwar, was the 70-year-old wife of late Harihar Singh, a resident of Itwa village in the Shahpur Thana area.

Health Crisis at Haldi Ceremony

On Sunday, several people fell ill after consuming food at a Haldi ceremony in Ara. The bride, along with others, experienced deteriorating health conditions. Despite the illness, the wedding took place on Tuesday. The bride’s parents are currently undergoing treatment for the same.

Political Leader Visits Affected Individuals

The district president of BJP, Durga Prasad, visited the affected individuals who fell ill after consuming food at the wedding ceremony. The incident took place in Itwa village of the Shahpur Thana area. The situation remains critical as more than 50 people have fallen sick.

Ongoing Medical Treatment

Efforts are underway to provide medical treatment to those affected by the food poisoning incident at the wedding ceremony in Ara. The authorities are working to ensure the well-being of the individuals who consumed the contaminated food.
