First Elected Energy Minister of Jharkhand Passes Away
The first Energy Minister of Jharkhand, Lalchand Mahato, who had been a three-time MLA from the Kandra Vidhan Sabha constituency, passed away due to a heart attack in Bokaro 3 hours ago. He was 72 years old. He collapsed in the bathroom late at night at his residence in Ranchi and lost consciousness. He was immediately taken to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead.
