April Heatwave in Bihar
As April comes to an end, Bihar continues to experience scorching heat with temperatures soaring up to 44°C in Sheikhpura. The Indian Meteorological Department predicts a further increase in temperatures in the coming days. Severe heatwave conditions are expected in 21 districts of Bihar, while the remaining districts will continue to experience hot weather.
Intense Heatwave in Bihar
Today, several districts in Bihar are under an orange alert due to the intense heatwave, with temperatures crossing 40°C in many places. While the skies remain clear, the hot winds are causing discomfort during the day. Relief is expected in some areas with partial cloud cover, providing some respite from the scorching heat.
Record-breaking Temperatures
On April 26th, Sheikhpura recorded the highest temperature of 43.9°C in Bihar, with other districts like Aurangabad, Gopalganj, and Gaya also experiencing record-breaking heat. With temperatures exceeding 40°C in 26 districts, it is essential to take precautions and stay hydrated to combat the extreme heatwave in Bihar.
बिहार के शहर सच्चिदानंद/पटना में लू और गर्मी का प्रकोप जारी है और तापमान 44°C तक पहुंच चुका है. आज बिहार के 21 जिलों में भीषण लू चलने की संभावना है और इस दौरान उचित है कि लोग 11 बजे से लेकर 3 बजे तक घर से बाहर न निकलें. जिन जिलों में ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है, वहां महसूस हो रही गर्माहट के कारण लू की संभावना है.वैज्ञानिक एसके पटेल ने बताया कि इस गर्मी से निपटा नहीं जा सकता है, सिर्फ बचने के उपाय किए जा सकते हैं जैसे कि बीच बीच में पानी पीना।
