Tragic Death of Biker in Road Accident
A bike rider met with a fatal accident near the Dobhi Surya Mandal on the main road route of Gaya-Barachatti on Thursday. The collision with a truck resulted in the immediate death of the rider. The police, who arrived at the scene promptly, managed to apprehend the truck involved in the accident, but the driver successfully fled the scene. The deceased was identified as a resident of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Details of the Accident
The incident took place near the Surya Mandal check post in the Barachatti police station area of the district. The victim, identified as Kamlesh Das from Prayagraj, Allahabad, was traveling on his motorcycle towards Uttar Pradesh. A speeding truck coming from the opposite direction near the Surya Mandal check post hit the biker, resulting in the tragic death.
Efforts to Identify the Deceased
After the accident, the police immediately tried to apprehend the driver responsible for the collision, but he managed to escape. The police seized the truck from the scene and initiated an investigation. The victim was identified through an Aadhar card found in his possession, confirming his identity as Kamlesh Das from Allahabad. The police took the body to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for post-mortem and are attempting to contact the deceased’s family.
