**Fire Breaks Out in Kirana Store in Nalanda**
A fire broke out in a kirana store in the Bihar Thana area of Nalanda on Wednesday night, causing extensive damage to property worth lakhs of rupees. The incident took place at the Asmat General Store in the Kagzi Mohalla area. After the fire broke out, chaos ensued at the scene.
**Short Circuit Causes Fire in Kirana Store**
The store manager, Mohammad Akram, mentioned that the store was closed and his brother, Mo. Asgar, had come to pick him up at the bus stand. Suddenly, they noticed smoke coming out of the store. Local residents tried to extinguish the fire, but it was not successful. The fire department was informed, and two fire trucks arrived at the scene.
**Loss Estimated at 6 Lakhs**
It is believed that a short circuit led to the fire in the kirana store, resulting in a loss of approximately 6 lakhs. The entire store, including a fridge, coffee machine, and other goods, was destroyed in the fire. The Bihar Thana police also arrived at the scene for investigation. The store owner is assessing the damage, and further action will be taken upon receiving the application.
