Fire breaks out in wheat fields in Sonag village

A sudden fire broke out in the wheat fields of Sonag village in the Naubatpur police station area of Patna late on Monday night. The fire spread rapidly, destroying the entire crop in about 16 acres of land. Upon receiving the information about the fire, the Naubatpur and Pipalawa police stations along with the fire brigade reached the spot to control the fire after a lot of effort.

Loss of crops for half a dozen farmers

During the incident, crops belonging to half a dozen farmers were completely destroyed in the fire. The wheat grains caught fire and were completely ruined, causing a significant loss to the farmers.
