Fire Incident at PMCH

The largest government hospital in Bihar, PMCH, has witnessed a fire incident for the second time within 2 months. On Monday, a fire broke out on the PMCH campus, causing panic. Fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene as the fire spread rapidly due to a short circuit in the DJ room.

Investigation Ordered

Although the fire was extinguished by the rescue team with the help of fire brigade vehicles, no major damage occurred. District Magistrate of Patna, Kapil Ashok, has ordered an investigation into the incident involving the SDM, ADM Disaster, and GM PESU. The DM has directed the investigation team to submit a report within two days.

Questions raised on PMCH Management

The discovery of cigarette butts in the fire safety bucket after the fire has raised questions about the negligence of PMCH management. This incident has brought several concerns regarding the management of PMCH to light. Media personnel who tried to capture the incident on camera were met with aggression from PMCH security personnel, indicating a lack of transparency in handling the situation.
