In a shocking incident in Gaya, a case of gang rape with a minor girl has come to light. The police have arrested one minor boy in connection with the case. The two other accused are currently on the run. It is reported that on Thursday afternoon, the 16-year-old girl went to meet a friend near the Guraaru railway crossing, close to the Gaya railway station. While she was talking to her friend, suddenly her friend’s acquaintances threatened and forcefully took the girl to the bushes near the railway line, where all three boys committed the gang rape. After the incident, the victim went home. No one was informed about the incident as all the family members were out. The girl was alone at home on Thursday.
Incident reported after the arrival of family members
However, due to the absence of the girl’s family members, the incident of gang rape was kept hidden. When the family members arrived home on Friday, the victim provided them with complete information about the incident. After that, the family members went to the police station and filed a complaint. The victim also narrated her ordeal to the police.
Police from two police stations involved in the investigation, one minor accused arrested
After registering the complaint at the Konch police station, the police have taken swift action in the case. The responsibility of arresting the accused involved in the incident has been given to the police of Konch and Guraaru police stations. However, both police stations jointly conducted a search operation and arrested one of the minor accused involved in the gang rape. It is reported that both the absconding accused are also minors. However, among the villagers, there is a discussion that the victim’s minor girl was involved in a love affair with a boy. On Thursday, after the family members left home, she went to meet her lover. During this time, the lover’s two friends arrived and together they committed the gang rape with the girl. After the incident, the family members are demanding strict punishment for the accused.
