The wedding season has started in full swing in Patna, with a high demand for gold and silver jewelry. However, customers will have to shell out more money this time as the rates of gold and silver are at their record levels. According to Ajay Kumar, Vice President of the Patna Bullion Association, the prices of gold and silver are increasing due to events in the share market, Sensex, and global market trends.
Current Gold Rates in Patna Sarafa Bazaar
As of Friday, April 19, the price of 22-carat gold is Rs. 68,550 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold is priced at Rs. 76,250 per 10 grams. The price of 18-carat gold is Rs. 57,750 per 10 grams. Silver prices remain stable at Rs. 83,000 per kilogram, with no changes compared to the previous day.
Exchange Rates for Gold and Silver in Patna
If you are looking to sell or exchange gold, the current rates in Patna Sarafa Bazaar are Rs. 67,050 for 22-carat gold and Rs. 56,250 for 18-carat gold per 10 grams. The selling price for silver remains at Rs. 80,000 per kilogram.
