Notorious Criminal Surrenders in Gopalganj Court
- A notorious criminal, who was included in the top-10 criminals list of Gopalganj district, surrendered in court on Thursday following a police raid.
- According to SP Swarn Prabhat, the court has ordered him to be sent to jail in judicial custody, and the police are preparing to interrogate him further by taking him on remand.
- The criminal, Krishna Singh, hails from Arna village in the Uchkagaon police station area and is wanted in more than 14 cases, including murder, robbery, extortion, and Arms Act violations.
- The police had been conducting raids to arrest him, but he decided to surrender after continuous pressure.
Man Arrested for Stealing Liquor in Thawe
- A person named Amarjit Nut was arrested for the third time near Bangra Kathaiya bridge in Thawe, after being found in possession of 40 liters of chulai country liquor.
- The accused had been previously arrested twice in liquor-related cases.
- After interrogating the accused, an FIR was filed under the Excise Act.
- The police force, led by Inspector Pintu Kumar, conducted the raid and made the arrest.
