Heat Wave Alert in Jharkhand

The weather department has issued a heat wave alert in Jharkhand till April 29. Advisory has been issued for several districts even today. Areas at highest risk of heat wave on April 26 include the eastern and western Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan districts of Kolhan region. Bokaro and Dhanbad districts of northern Chota Nagpur region. Jamtara, Dumka, Pakur, Godda, and Sahibganj districts of Santhal Pargana region are also included.
