**Hemant Soren’s Arrest Case**
Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s arrest case will be heard in the High Court on Wednesday. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has submitted their response to the case on Tuesday. Hemant Soren’s side is currently maintaining their stance against the allegations. After a partial hearing, the Acting Chief Justice S. Chandrasekhar’s court has scheduled another hearing for Wednesday.

**Defence by Hemant Soren’s Lawyer**
Hemant Soren’s lawyer, Kapil Sibal, stated that this case is not related to any schedule offence or money laundering against him. The controversial 8.5 acres of land in Bargarh region, where some claim Hemant Soren has encroached, does not have any mention of his name in the original documents. The ED is continuing their investigation believing in these claims against Hemant Soren.

**Lack of Evidence in the Case**
There is currently no evidence in this case, and the ED has not yet gathered any substantial proof. The WhatsApp chat being mentioned with Vinod Singh, an architect, regarding the construction of a banquet hall on the disputed land in Bargarh region, dates back to the year 2020.

**Decision on Hemant’s Budget Session Attendance Today**
The decision on the petition filed in the High Court for Hemant Soren’s participation in the state budget session will be heard on Wednesday. The court had kept the decision reserved on Monday. Hemant had filed a petition in the ED court to attend the Jharkhand Assembly’s budget session. After the petition was dismissed by the ED court, he has now filed it in the High Court.
