Jharkhand Weather Update

After two days of pleasant weather, the heat has returned to Jharkhand from Wednesday. The temperature is expected to rise continuously until April 29th due to the scorching sun. During this period, the maximum temperature may rise by two to four degrees, causing discomfort to the common people with hot and dry winds and sharp rays of the sun.

Heat Advisory in 14 Districts

The weather department has issued a heat advisory in 14 districts regarding the upcoming heatwave. Ranchi and Khunti, along with 12 other districts, have been put on yellow alert for heatwave until April 28th. The temperature in 12 districts of Jharkhand has crossed 40 degrees. In regions like Santal and Kolhan, the temperature may go up to 45 degrees.

Expert Warning

According to the scientists at the Ranchi weather department, there is an alert for heatwave in some areas with an increase of three to four degrees in temperature until April 28th. The dry and hot weather is causing an increase in the heat due to the constant dry winds and clear skies.

Temperature Rise in Past 24 Hours

In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in several districts of Jharkhand has increased by one to two degrees. The regions of Godda, Baharagoda in East Singhbhum, and Pakur-Saraikela recorded the highest temperatures. Ranchi recorded a temperature of 37.4 degrees in the past 24 hours, with the maximum temperature reaching 37.2 degrees.
