Jharkhand Weather Update
On Thursday, the day was quite hot in Jharkhand, including Ranchi. The temperature in Ranchi saw a rise of two degrees in a day. According to the weather department, the maximum and minimum temperatures in various districts of the state are currently higher than normal. The maximum temperature is three to four degrees above average, while the minimum temperature is two to three degrees higher, making the environment warmer.
Temperature in Ranchi
On Thursday, the maximum temperature in Ranchi was 38.2 degrees and the minimum was 21.4 degrees. In comparison to the last 24 hours, there was an increase of about two degrees in the maximum temperature. Similarly, the minimum temperature is also two degrees higher than normal.
Effect of Heatwave in Some Districts
In districts like Santal Pargana, Kolhan, and Palamau Mandal, the impact of heatwave was observed in some areas. Godda was the hottest city in the state, with a maximum temperature of 42.9 degrees and Pakur recording 41.1 degrees Celsius. Jamshedpur also saw a maximum temperature of 42.0 degrees.
High Temperatures in Other Cities
Aside from these cities, Devghar, Medininagar, Garhwa, and Jamtara also recorded temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius. The weather in Jharkhand is currently experiencing higher than normal temperatures, indicating a heatwave in some regions.
