Police Officer Takes Oath of Panch Pran
The Model Police Station in Jamui was visited by the Police Superintendent on Bihar Police Day, where he administered the oath of Panch Pran. The SP mentioned that this oath is based on public trust and commitment. It includes registering complaints and FIRs, providing receipt of complaints to the complainant, handling cases of crimes against women, encouraging women police officers to take action, urging women to dial 112 in case of emergencies, conducting surveillance of crime in villages and neighborhoods, monitoring sensitive areas through CCTV, and keeping a constant watch on active criminals.
