Illegal Stamp Factory Uncovered in Gopalganj, Bihar
In Gopalganj, Bihar, a team of SDM and SP conducted a raid at the home of a lawyer from the Civil Court, exposing an illegal judicial stamp factory. The incident took place in the Marwadi Mohalla area, where all those involved in making stamps fled during the raid. The images witnessed by the SDM and SP during the raid were shocking.
Fake Stamps and E-Tickets Found at Lawyer’s Residence
Fake stamps and E-tickets were found on the table and computer at the lawyer’s residence. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter. It was revealed that a game of making fake non-judicial and judicial special tickets was being played at the lawyer’s house. Fake tickets and counterfeit revenue receipts were found during the raid led by SDM Dr. Pradeep Kumar and SP Pranjul Tripathi.
Previous Incidents of Stamp Fraud in Gopalganj
This is not the first incident of stamp fraud in Gopalganj. A few months ago, a raid conducted by the administration led to the arrest of two youths for making and selling fake stamps and official seals. The recent raid lasted for over 5 hours, resulting in the seizure of several counterfeit stamps and seals.
