उन्होंने कहा कि इस अभियान के तहत, पटना सहित बिहार के सभी जिला मुख्यालयों से टॉर्च प्रदर्शन और मशाल यात्राएं निकाली जाएंगी, जिसमें सैकड़ों वरिष्ठ पार्टी नेता, जिला अधिकारी और कार्यकर्ता मौजूद होंगे। पहले चरण में, जो 1 से 5 सितंबर तक चलेगा, सभी जिला मुख्यालयों में टॉर्च प्रदर्शन और मशाल यात्राएं निकाली जाएंगी। दूसरे चरण में, 7 से 12 सितंबर तक ब्लॉक मुख्यालयों में टॉर्च प्रदर्शन और मशाल यात्राएं आयोजित की जाएंगी और तीसरे यानी अंतिम चरण में, 15 से 20 सितंबर तक सभी पार्टी के अधिकारी अपने आपके घरों में काले झंडे लगाकर वर्तमान सरकार के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन करेंगे।
दूसरी ओर, जेडीयू के चुनावी अभियान पर जोर देते हुए भाजपा ने कहा कि जब महागठबंधन सरकार ने जाति की गणना के मुद्दे पर विफलता दिखाई, तो अब वह जनता को गुमराह करने की कोशिश कर रही है। भाजपा के प्रवक्ता संतोष पाठक का कहना है कि भाजपा शुरू से ही जाति की गणना का समर्थन करने वाली थी और भाजपा ने जाति की गणना के लिए दो बार पूरा समर्थन दिया था। अब जब जेडीयू को इस मुद्दे पर जाति कार्ड खेलने का मौका नहीं मिला, तो वह ऐसी सस्ती राजनीति कर रही है।
