Bihar Weather Report: Severe cold weather conditions continue in Bihar. Today’s weather is forcing people to stay indoors due to the chilly temperatures. The Meteorological Department predicts a slight increase in temperature from Monday, but there is a possibility of another cold spell around 6th February. This is due to a powerful western disturbance that may result in snowfall and rainfall in the western Himalayas on 30th January and 3rd February. As a result, cold winds are expected to start blowing in Bihar around 6th February, leading to a drop in minimum temperatures.

When will the cold subside? According to the IMD report, there is a possibility of a slight increase in temperature from 29th January for the next three to four days. However, the cold will not completely go away, but it will be felt more in the air after 6th February. There is a possibility of a cold day in some parts of North Bihar on 29th January. The minimum temperature in the entire state was 10 degrees Celsius or lower on Sunday. The air was so cold that a slight chill was felt in the sun. The minimum temperature in various cities was recorded as 3.8 degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur, 4.6 in Banka, 5 in Motihari, 5 in Kishanganj, and 5.2 degrees Celsius in Sheikhpura. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded as 24.5 degrees Celsius in Aurangabad, while the lowest maximum temperature was recorded as 12.2 degrees Celsius in Gopalganj. There was severe cold in Siwan.

Patna’s weather: In the capital city Patna, after relief from the sun on Saturday, there was a decrease of more than one degree Celsius in the minimum temperature after the clouds covered the sky on Sunday. The minimum temperature in the city on Sunday was 7 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 21.5 degrees Celsius.

Bihar AQI report: After almost 20 days, the air quality of the capital city Patna has once again been classified in the very poor category. The air quality index (AQI) of Gandhi Maidan was recorded as 414, indicating a severe situation. The AQI of Danapur was recorded as 368. Patna city’s AQI was recorded as 301, while Taramandal’s AQI was recorded as 200. Rajbanshi Nagar’s air quality was recorded as 342. Apart from the capital city, the air quality of six other cities in the state was also classified in the red zone, with Bhagalpur being the most polluted.

बिहार में ठंड के तेवर अभी भी सख्त हैं और आज का मौसम कनकनी वाली ठंड के कारण लोगों को घरों में दुबके रहने पर मजबूर कर रहा है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार सोमवार से तापमान में कुछ वृद्धि होगी, लेकिन छह फरवरी से एक बार फिर ठंड जोर पकड़ सकती है। इसके अलावा, 30 जनवरी और तीन फरवरी को पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के असर से पश्चिमी हिमालय में बर्फबारी और बारिश की संभावना है। इससे छह फरवरी के आसपास ठंडी हवाएं आनी शुरू होंगी और न्यूनतम तापमान में गिरावट आ सकती है। आइएमडी की तरफ से जारी जानकारी के मुताबिक 29 जनवरी से 2 फरवरी के बीच भागलपुर में ठंड बनी रहने की संभावना है। राजधानी पटना में वायु गुणवत्ता बहुत खराब श्रेणी में दर्ज की गयी है और प्रदेश के अन्य शहरों में भी प्रदूषण की मार बढ़ी है।
