In India, it is common for the government to be blamed for everything that goes wrong. People often avoid taking responsibility and treat the government as a burden. The government has been running various campaigns to make India clean for a long time. People are being made aware of cleanliness. However, is the government solely responsible for this?
LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS CLEANLINESS
There have been multiple appeals to people to keep their surroundings clean. The government has installed dustbins in various places for the disposal of dry and wet waste. However, people still continue to throw garbage here and there. Some people even steal dustbins. Recently, a video of a careless woman from Bhagalpur station was shared on social media.
WOMAN’S CARELESS ACT CAPTURED ON CAMERA
A video of a woman’s misconduct was shared on the social media site Instagram. In the video, a woman was seen drinking tea at the station. After taking sips of tea in the cold weather, she moved forward and threw the empty cup on the platform instead of the dustbin, which was just four steps away. The most surprising part was that there was a dustbin placed a few feet away from her. However, the woman chose to dispose of the cup on the platform.
REACTION OF PEOPLE AND THE REALITY OF BIHAR
People were angry after witnessing the woman’s careless act at the station, and a bystander recorded the incident. As soon as the video was shared on social media, it went viral. Many people expressed their anger in the comments and mentioned that such negligence is the main reason for the country’s dirtiness. If someone tries to explain them, they are ready to fight. One user even mentioned that this is Bihar’s reality.
