The Matric exams were conducted from February 6th to February 26th, with 1238 exam centers for Matric and 740 for Intermediate. Approximately 7,66,500 students appeared for the exams, with 4,21,678 students in the Matric exam. The exam was held from 9.45 am to 1.05 pm in the first shift.

Last year, 95.38% of students passed the JAC Matric exam, with 4,27,294 students appearing and 4,07,559 passing. In the Intermediate Science exam, out of 73,833 students, 60,134 passed.
