Maghi Purnima Importance
On February 24th, Maghi Purnima will be celebrated, also known as the full moon day of the Magh month. It is considered auspicious to perform rituals like bathing, giving alms, and worshipping on this day. While worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on any full moon day can bring special benefits, worshipping her on Maghi Purnima is considered extremely auspicious. Performing the puja with proper rituals along with worshipping Lord Vishnu is recommended by astrologer Pandit Manohar Acharya for guaranteed results.
Midnight Puja for Wealth
Astrologer Manohar Acharya suggests performing the puja of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu at midnight on Maghi Purnima, specifically at 12 am. This can enhance the path to wealth accumulation. Offering white flowers, white sweets, and white food items during the puja is advised. Additionally, offering 11 roses to Goddess Lakshmi during the puja can further please her and bring more blessings.
Special Practices Post Sunset
According to astrologer Manohar Acharya, after sunset on Maghi Purnima, certain practices can bring special benefits. He recommends worshipping the moon, offering water, and performing rituals post-sunset. Additionally, on this day, it is suggested to perform acts of charity for one’s ancestors by offering ghee, jaggery, blankets, and clothing. Remembering and honoring one’s ancestors by giving donations in their name can bring liberation and blessings to them.
