Tragic Incident in Patna
In a shocking incident in Patna, Bihar, JD(U) youth leader Saurabh Kumar was shot dead by unidentified assailants while returning home from a wedding ceremony with his friend Munmun Kumar. The incident took place near the Badhaiya Pul in the Punpun Thana area. Saurabh was fatally wounded, while Munmun sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a private nursing home in Patna.

Saurabh Kumar, a 33-year-old who was also involved in property dealings, was returning home with Munmun Kumar in a car after attending a wedding reception at midnight. As they were traveling, four assailants on bikes opened fire on them, resulting in Saurabh getting shot in the head and succumbing to his injuries. Munmun was also hit by two bullets and is currently in critical condition.
Outrage and Police Response
The rural population is outraged by the murder of the JD(U) leader and has demanded swift action to apprehend the criminals responsible. The incident caused a traffic jam on NH 83 as the body was placed on the road and taken to Patna in an ambulance.
