Finance Minister presented the budget for Jharkhand for the financial year 2024-25 on Tuesday. The budget presented was worth Rs. 1,28,900 crores. The government claimed to have successfully created a realistic budget. The budget also includes several new announcements. Let’s find out what’s new for your family, your district, and your city.
For Rural Families:
★The goal is to benefit 20 lakh families under the Abhua Housing Scheme for the financial years 2024-25 to 2027-28, with a proposed budget of Rs. 4831.83 crores.
★The Chief Minister Pension Scheme is extended to individuals above 50 years of age, SC, ST, OBC individuals, destitute women, HIV/AIDS affected individuals, and transgenders, with a budget provision of Rs. 3107.40 crores.
★Construction of akhadas and supply of traditional musical instruments in tribal villages.
For Food Security:
★Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme will introduce custom milled rice for the first time.
★Proposal to increase dealer commission from Rs. 100 to Rs. 150 per quintal.
★Proposal for soybean distribution to ration cardholder families.
For Infrastructure:
★Proposal to provide free electricity for 125 units.
★Construction of 2500 km roads and 200 bridges under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
★Implementation of 8 water supply schemes in several districts.
For Students:
★Operation of 325 block-level leader schools in the academic year 2024-25.
★Introduction of mother tongue-based education in 1000 primary schools in seven districts.
★Financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 for diploma and Rs. 30,000 for degree students under the Manaki Munda Scholarship Scheme.
Various initiatives have been proposed in the budget to improve living standards and promote education in Jharkhand.
वित्त मंत्री ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 के लिए झारखंड का बजट पेश किया जिसमें एक लाख 28 हजार 900 करोड़ रुपए का बजट है। बजट में गांव-परिवार के लिए अबुआ आवास योजना, मुख्यमंत्री सर्वजन पेंशन योजना, खाद्य सुरक्षा की योजनाएं और शिक्षा के लिए विभिन्न प्रोग्राम्स शामिल हैं। सड़क, बिजली, पानी और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भी कई महत्वपूर्ण प्रोजेक्ट्स हैं जो झारखंड के विकास में मदद करेंगे।
