Antu Tirkey and Three Others Remanded by ED
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s party continues to face difficulties as JMM leader Antu Tirkey was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday night. He was produced in court on Thursday and the ED requested a seven-day remand. The court sent Tirkey on a five-day ED remand, as he is alleged to be involved in a land scam along with other JMM leaders.
Four People Including Antu Tirkey in ED Custody
Antu Tirkey, along with land businessman Bipin Singh, Irshad, and Priy Ranjan, were presented in the ED’s special court on Thursday. They were arrested by the central investigation agency on Tuesday night in connection with the alleged land scam. The ED had requested a seven-day remand for questioning, and the court has sent them to ED custody for five days for further interrogation.
Recent Revelations by the ED
The ED has made several new revelations in the land scam case, including the recovery of a diary during a raid at Saddam’s residence, which allegedly mentions transactions. झारखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन की पार्टी की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं क्योंकि ईडी ने झामुमो नेता अंतु तिर्की को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। ईडी ने उन्हें सात दिन की रिमांड के लिए मांग की है। इसके साथ ही जमीन घोटाले में उनके साथ तीन और लोगों को भी ईडी ने गिरफ्तार किया है। इन चारों को कोर्ट में पांच दिन की ईडी रिमांड पर भेज दिया गया है। ईडी ने जमीन घोटाले में कई नए खुलासे भी किए हैं, जिसमें लेन-देन का जिक्र है। हेमंत सोरेन भी इस घटना में शामिल हैं और उन्हें भी जेल में बंद किया गया है।
