JSSC CGL Exam: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Ranchi Police arrested the Deputy Secretary of Jharkhand Assembly, Mo Shamim, on Sunday in connection with the leak of the question paper of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam. The team also apprehended his two sons. It is reported that they found several admit cards, mobile phones, and blank cheques belonging to many competitive students. The JSSC CGL exam was held on January 28, but its question paper had already been leaked. As a result, the exam scheduled for February 4 was also canceled.
Medininagar Arrests: In a related development, the SIT team of Ranchi had earlier arrested two individuals from Medininagar in connection with this case. Further investigations are being conducted with them in Ranchi. According to sources, the formation of the SIT was ordered by Chief Minister Champai Soren to investigate the leak of the JSSC CGL 2023 exam paper. The police officials involved in the team started a thorough investigation into the leak case, and apart from others, gathered substantial evidence against the Deputy Secretary. Following the raid, he, along with his two sons, was taken into custody. Several important leads have emerged during the interrogation. The team is now proceeding with further action. They are conducting raids not only in Jharkhand but also in other parts of the country to find the source of the leak and the main conspirators involved in this organized crime.
Involvement of Other States: The SIT team has found that the threads of the paper leak case are connected to various organized groups in other states as well, who are experienced in such activities. In addition to this, the team is also focusing on apprehending those who spread the leaked paper through WhatsApp.
The investigation is still ongoing, and the SIT team is working towards identifying the mastermind and main operators involved in the leak case. They are also determined to arrest those responsible for spreading the leaked paper through WhatsApp.
झारखंड कर्मचारी चयन आयोग की कम्बाइंड ग्रेजुएट लेवल (सीजीएल) परीक्षा के प्रश्नपत्र लीक होने के मामले में रांची पुलिस की एसआइटी ने रविवार को झारखंड विधानसभा के अवर सचिव मो शमीम को गिरफ्तार किया है। उनके पास से कई प्रतियोगी छात्रों के प्रवेश पत्र, मोबाइल फोन और सादे चेक मिले हैं। इसके बाद इस परीक्षा के साथ-साथ चार फरवरी को होने वाली परीक्षा भी रद्द कर दी गई थी। एसआइटी ने इसी मामले में मेदिनीनगर से दो लोगों को भी पकड़ा है। टीम को यह पता लगा है कि परचा लीक मामले के तार दूसरे राज्यों के कई संगठित गिरोह से भी जुड़े हुए हैं जो इस तरह के काम में माहिर रहे हैं।
