Sarfaraz Alam, a resident of Katihar, learned to make rolls while living in Noida and then opened a roll shop there for almost 13 years. After that, he came to Katihar and opened his roll shop under the name “Roll King”.
Although their branch in Noida is still famous for their rolls, people in Katihar also love the rolls prepared in various flavors at their shop. As soon as evening sets in, there is a crowd of customers at their shop. Almost 500 or more customers eat their rolls daily at the shop.
The rolls are prepared with various ingredients such as egg rolls, paneer rolls, chicken rolls, and veg rolls, which are highly preferred by the customers at their shop.
Making a mark in the roll business, Sarfaraz Alam has involved his nephews and nieces in the family business. The rolls are prepared with special ingredients such as green chutney, salad, mayonnaise, momo chutney, tomato sauce, chaat masala, lemon, and many more.
Ankit Kumar, who came to the shop to eat chicken rolls, says that he has been eating rolls from here for a long time. The rolls here are delicious, so people regularly come here to enjoy chicken rolls. Similarly, another customer, Vikki Gupta, says that the rolls here are quite famous. They are delicious, which is why he often comes here to eat rolls.
In terms of price, the veg roll is priced at ₹40, paneer roll at ₹50, chicken roll at ₹60, and egg roll at ₹40. In total, the Roll King shop on MG Road in Katihar offers a variety of rolls that are truly becoming the king for the customers and winning their hearts.
