Aditya Raj, also known as Golden, was kidnapped by criminals while he was on his way to coaching in Bettiah, Bihar. He was taken in a Scorpio car and later released. In his statement given to the court, Golden revealed that he was falsely accused by the police of running away and that he was actually kidnapped. He managed to escape and seek help at a nearby roadside dhaba, where he shared his ordeal. The dhaba owner provided him with a safe place and informed his family and the police, leading to his rescue.
According to the information provided, Aditya Raj explained in his statement that he had stopped on the way to coaching to relieve himself when some people forcefully put him in a car and took him away. He was then tied to a chair and taken to an unknown location. However, he managed to free himself from the chair and reached a dhaba on the roadside, where he shared his story. A person at the dhaba kept him safe and informed his family and the police, who then arrived and took him back to Bettiah.
It is noteworthy that the police initially received information about Aditya Raj’s kidnapping while he was on his way to coaching from the SP Colony area of Mufassil Thana. However, the police later claimed that no kidnapping had occurred and that he had gone to the eastern part of Champaran on his own. The SDPO Mahatab Alam provided the media with a detailed account of the incident, stating that Aditya Raj is a YouTuber and bodybuilder who also uploads videos on YouTube. He wanted to pursue a career in this field, but his family was not supportive and wanted him to focus on his studies, which led him to take this step.
According to the SDPO, the boy was going for tuition with his brother when he decided to go ahead and reached Betiya station via the field route. From there, he boarded a train to Maheshi in East Champaran. He started looking for work at a line hotel owned by the hotelier. He was asked for his ID and address, which led to his identification.
