**Local People at the Accident Site**
In Samastipur, Bihar, a car coming from Muzaffarpur at high speed hit a tempo from behind, causing it to overturn in a ditch. Two people riding in the tempo died on the spot and three others were injured. The incident took place near Rajba Line Hotel in the Bangra Thana area.
**Fatal Collision**
According to reports, early in the morning around 7:30 am, a car (Safari) coming from Muzaffarpur at high speed hit the Maldhova tempo, which was going towards Motipur Sabzi Mandi, from behind. In this accident, Pradeep Sah (50) and Ramvaran Mahato (60), both vegetable traders from Chiknouta in Muzaffarpur, died on the spot. Jitendra Ram, Sunil Mahato, and Devendra Sah were severely injured.
**Immediate Response**
After reaching the scene, the Bangra police, with the help of local people, sent the bodies of the deceased to Samastipur Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The three seriously injured individuals were admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police also seized both vehicles involved in the accident and took them to the station.
**Political Response**
Bhakpa Male District Secretary Surendra Prasad Singh and Khegramas leader Prabhat Ranjan Gupta expressed deep sorrow over the accident. The political leaders demanded compensation of five lakh rupees for the deceased’s families, government-funded treatment for the injured, and arrangements to prevent road accidents.
