**Fire Breaks out in Gift Shop due to Incense Stick**

In Bihar’s Jamui district, a fire broke out in a gift shop near the post office during a morning prayer on Saturday. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing the entire shop and nearby stores. However, two fire engines arrived at the scene and managed to control the fire. It is estimated that goods worth more than two lakh rupees, including cash, were destroyed in the fire.

**Shopkeeper Trapped in the Fire**

The shopkeeper, Ajay Bhagat, who runs the gift shop near Maharajganj post office, was trapped on the first floor of his house as the fire spread rapidly. His wife had lit an incense stick and left for the temple, which led to the fire breaking out. Bhagat was stuck on the first floor due to the intensity of the fire.

**Efforts to Control the Fire**

Local residents tried to control the fire after being informed about the incident, but the intensity of the flames made it difficult to contain. The fire department was alerted, and fire engines arrived at the scene to finally bring the fire under control. The injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment, and a police investigation into the incident is ongoing.

**Police Investigation and Medical Treatment**

After receiving information about the incident, the local police, including the Town Police Chief Arun Kumar, arrived at the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital, and a thorough investigation into the incident is being conducted. The police confirmed that a person was injured in the fire and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
