LP Gas Cylinder to PNG Connection in Bihar

After the capital city of Patna, now the people of Bihar’s Bihata will also be getting freedom from LP gas cylinders. Soon, PNG connections will be reaching their kitchen instead of gas cylinders, allowing for cooking on a gas stove. Not only homes but many factories in the area will also be receiving PNG connections, with the expansion of the PNG pipeline within a 5 km radius of Bihata.

Survey for PNG Pipeline Expansion

To lay down the PNG pipeline stretching approximately 25 km from Fulwari to Sikandarpur in Bihata, the survey work will commence after June 15. Currently, PNG supply is already being provided to 17,000 homes in the Patna Municipal Corporation and nearby municipal council areas.

Registration and Security Deposit for PNG Connection

To get a PNG connection, registration is free but a security deposit of 500 rupees is required. Documents like Aadhar card, voter ID, passport, PAN card, or driving license are mandatory for registration. With plans to expand the PNG pipeline, the expansion of CNG pipelines is also in the works for Bihata, where currently there are over 800 CNG autos and 200+ vehicles in the area.
