Nityanand Rai meets Jitan Ram Manjhi
The BJP is ensuring that no support party in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is upset before seat sharing. Former state president Sanjay Jaiswal met with NDA ally Upendra Kushwaha on Friday. Today, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai met with Santosh Suman, the son of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. The meeting lasted for about half an hour. After the meeting, Nityanand Rai said that everything is well in the NDA. There is no problem or anger anywhere. The top leadership will soon make a decision on seat sharing.
Murder of a youth in Gaya
In Gaya, criminals murdered a youth by strangling him with a sharp weapon. The criminals killed the youth and then fled the scene leaving the body on the roadside. Local police reached the spot and took the body into their possession for postmortem at the hospital. However, the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed yet. The incident took place near the Fatehpur village under the Belaganj police station area on Saturday morning.
Congress calls Bihar State President to Delhi
The Bihar State President of Congress, Akhilesh Singh, has been called to Delhi. A meeting with Alok Kumar is scheduled for 2 pm today.
