Mini Secretariat Building to be Constructed in Bhagalpur, Bihar
Bhagalpur, a city in Bihar, will soon have a mini secretariat building similar to Patna. This building will be constructed within the premises of the Bhagalpur Collectorate. The design of the building is currently being prepared and the agency will commence construction after receiving administrative approval. The five-story building, estimated to cost around 17 crores, will house various offices, including the District Magistrate’s office and department offices, all under one roof. The preparations for the construction have already begun.
A Building Designed to Last for 100 Years
The District Magistrate, Dr. Naval Kishor, along with subordinate officials, inspected the estimated site for the construction of the building around the Collectorate. The building is designed to last for approximately 100 years. Dr. Kishor mentioned that this will make it easier for people coming from distant villages, as they will not have to wander everywhere. The Building Construction Department of Bhagalpur will oversee the construction of the building through an agency. A detailed project report will be prepared soon.
All Offices Under One Roof
The District Magistrate highlighted that all officers from different departments will be seated in one place, reducing the need for them to travel long distances for file-related information. This will expedite work completion. He also mentioned that the construction of the building will provide various facilities. Discussions with engineers are underway, and a blueprint for the building has been prepared. The five-story building will accommodate almost all offices. As Bhagalpur is a large region, with people from rural areas traveling from far, this initiative will eliminate any inconvenience for them.
