In Bhagalpur, a woman named Devi left her 15-year-old disabled son locked in a room to go to Patna to bring her other child two days ago. Upon returning home, she found the child in an unconscious state. In a panic, she rushed the child to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical Hospital, where the doctors declared the child dead. The case is from the Surkhi Kal locality of the Barari police station area.

Anita Devi mentioned that she had gone to Patna to bring her other child. During her trip to Patna, she had locked the house. Due to this, Aditya, the disabled child, remained hungry and thirsty for two days, which deteriorated his condition and led to his death. Anita Devi admitted that she used to leave Aditya alone before as well.
