Bihar University to Remain Closed from April to June

The Munger University in Bihar is set to remain closed for two months, from April to June, due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and an extended holiday list. Despite reopening for two days after a short break, the university will face challenges in managing responsibilities amidst the election fervor and a long holiday list from April to June.

Extended Holidays During Lok Sabha Elections

The Jamui Lok Sabha constituency will have polling on April 19, while Munger will have its election on May 13, with counting on June 4. This means that there will be a long list of holidays from April to June due to the elections. The Munger University will also have a summer vacation from June 1 to 30, adding to the challenges faced by the administration.

Challenges for the Current Vice-Chancellor

The current Vice-Chancellor of the university, who is set to retire in August, will have limited time between April and June to address various responsibilities. With a significant financial settlement pending and the need to conduct Senate elections to pass a budget, the university administration faces a heavy burden during this period.
