Crime in Patna
In yet another challenge to the police, criminals in Patna have carried out a major murder incident. The incident took place in Masaurhi, where a young woman named Beauty was shot dead late Sunday night by criminals in Rahmatganj’s Gandhi Maidan. The security arrangements of the police have been questioned after the murder. Beauty was shot 6-7 times, of which five bullets have been recovered by the police. The locals took the woman to the sub-divisional hospital where doctors declared her dead.
Family Dispute
It is said that the deceased Beauty was the daughter of Mohammad Ilyas and used to live in Rahmat Nagar at her maternal home. There was also an ongoing dispute within the family. The police attribute the murder to the family dispute. The police also mentioned that the woman had an illicit relationship with someone, which is why the whole case is surrounded by suspicion. The police are investigating the matter.

Masaurhi DSP Nav Vaibhav informed that the police are investigating the case. The behavior of the woman was also suspicious, which is being looked into. Even after marriage, the woman used to stay at her maternal home, and there were family disputes going on, which are being investigated. The identification of the deceased has been done as Beauty, who was known as the daughter of Mohammad Ilyas and was a resident of Rahmatganj. The police were on alert for Chhath Puja, but amidst this, the murder incident took place, raising questions on police vigilance.
