Approach road construction to begin soon: District Magistrate Subrat Kumar Sen has informed that they will soon communicate with the bridge construction corporation for the construction of the contact path. He stated that there were obstacles in land acquisition for the approach road, but now almost all the formalities have been completed. An allocation of nearly Rs 25 crore was received from the Chief Minister’s office for the construction of the contact path, and more than Rs 24 crore has been paid to landowners for land acquisition.
Need for NOC at departmental level: The District Magistrate stated that an NOC from the NOSC is required at the departmental level, and they will soon write a letter to the Additional Secretary of the bridge construction corporation, urging for the construction of the contact path, so that people coming from rural areas to the city can have convenience. It is evident that this is big news for people who are troubled by traffic congestion in Muzaffarpur, as funds have been released for the Chandwara bridge and approach road.
