Political Entry in Bihar
The entry of a new politician in Bihar’s politics has surprised everyone. Naba Sarania, a two-time independent MP from Kokrajhar in Assam, has filed his nomination from the Valmikinagar parliamentary constituency this time. The founder president of the Gan Suraksha Party, Naba Sarania, suddenly reached the Collectorate on Monday and filed his nomination. He will be competing against JDU’s Sunil Kumar and RJD’s Deepak Yadav on this seat, with Congress rebel Pravesh Mishra and BJP rebel Dinesh Agrawal having already filed their independent nominations.
Challenge in Valmikinagar
Naba Sarania, who had gone to file his nomination in the Bettiah office in Bihar from Assam, revealed that his nomination was canceled in Assam due to some technical reasons. His goal in contesting elections from Valmikinagar is to work for the tribal, backward, extremely backward, scheduled caste-tribe communities, and to advance them and give them social recognition. Sarania said that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi can contest elections from Varanasi, then why can’t he contest from Valmikinagar? If he wins, he promises to work for the development of all sections of society.
Former Commander’s Political Journey
According to information, Sarania has served as the commander of the 709 battalion in Ulfai of Assam. Naba, who hails from the village of Dighalipar in Baksa district of Assam, joined the organization in 1990. On August 20, 2012, Guwahati police arrested him along with three others on charges of robbery, kidnapping, and murder. In later days, he left the organization and made politics his career.
