Good News for Residents of Chapra: A newly developed park in the district school premises of Chapra, Bihar, has been opened for the public. The park has been renovated by the Forest Department, with 90% of the work completed. Despite some pending work, the park has been opened for people to enjoy. It features a 300-meter walking track, marble benches for seating, and beautiful flowers and plants. The park also provides clean water and toilet facilities, as well as swings for children. It has been named after India’s first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who studied at the same district school in Chapra.
Visitors to the park will be charged a nominal fee. The park will be open for free from 6 am to 9 am and will be open for general entry from 10:30 am to 5 pm, with an entry fee applicable after 10:30 am starting from January 28th. The Forest Department has been informed about the fee determination and other tasks. Once the order is received, the specified fee will be collected. The park is a part of the district school and its beautification has been entrusted to the Forest Department. The department will be requested to provide additional resources for the park. छपरा, बिहार के सारण जिले में स्थित पार्क का जीर्णोद्धार कार्य वन विभाग की तरफ से किया गया है और इसका नाम देश के प्रथम राष्ट्रपति डॉ राजेंद्र प्रसाद के नाम पर रखा गया है. इस पार्क का 90 फ़ीसदी कम पूरा हो चुका है. छपरा के इस खूबसूरत पार्क को लोगों के लिए खोल दिया गया है. पार्क में टहलने के लिए 300 मीटर का ट्रैक, बैठने के लिए मार्बल का बेंच लगाया गया है. साथ हीं पार्क के चारो तरफ फूल-पत्तियों को लगाया गया है. इस पार्क में शुद्ध जल और शौचालय की भी व्यवस्था की गई है. इसके अलावा बच्चों के लिए झूला भी लगाया गया है. पार्क में आने वालों से वसूला जाएगा निर्धारित शुल्क। वन विभाग को अन्य संसाधन उपलब्ध कराने के लिए विभाग को लिख जाएगा। जो कार्य रह गया है उसे जल्द हीं पूरा कर लिया जाएगा।
