Pashupati Kumar Paras Resigns from NDA

After the division of seats in Bihar, Central Minister and Chirag Paswan’s uncle, Pashupati Kumar Paras, has separated himself from the NDA. Paras made this announcement during a press conference held in Delhi on Tuesday. Paras has resigned from the Modi cabinet. He did not receive any seats in Bihar during the seat distribution on Monday evening, leading to speculation that he could leave the NDA at any time. Paras has also announced his resignation from the ministry.

Paras to Contest Elections from Hajipur

Sources reveal that Pashupati Kumar Paras will contest elections from Hajipur. He will be contesting against his nephew Chirag Paswan from this seat. Just before the elections, Paras has demanded all the seats in Samastipur and Nawada from the Mahagathbandhan but gaining entry into the alliance seems difficult for him.

Paras Prepares to Raise Dalit Issues

Paras is set to leave for Patna from Delhi this evening. He and his supporters are in constant contact with the RJD. According to sources, discussions are ongoing with the RJD. Paras is preparing to raise the issue of Dalit respect. He is ready to go among the people about the injustice done to him by the NDA. Paras, whose party currently has 5 MPs, did not receive a single seat in Bihar. All seats in his account have been given to his nephew Chirag Paswan.
