During a meeting of NDA constituents on Monday, Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde announced the allocation of seats in Bihar along with JD(U) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha. Five seats were given to Lok Janshakti Party, which did not sit well with Paras. The promise of five tickets to his nephew Chirag Paswan and the party had led to Paras feeling aggrieved. He had previously expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of communication regarding seat allocation.
