PM Kisan Yojana 17th Installment
A significant update has emerged regarding the 17th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana). The new installment could potentially be released in the first week of July, although official confirmation from the Central Government is still pending. The previous, 16th installment was released in February, during which ₹ 2000 was deposited into the bank accounts of over 9 crore farmers.
PM Kisan Yojana Benefits
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers receive an annual sum of ₹ 6000, which is distributed two or three times every four months. This financial aid can be utilized by farmers for their agricultural needs. Media reports suggest that the 17th installment might be released after the formation of the new government in the last week of June or the first week of July. However, there is no official confirmation on this yet.

To be eligible for the installment benefits, farmers must go through a verification process. Farmers associated with the PM Kisan Yojana need to complete this step to avoid any potential disruption to their financial aid from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Importance of e-KYC for PM Kisan Yojana
In addition to verification, farmers are also required to complete e-KYC to avail the installment benefits. Without completing e-KYC, there may be a delay or blockage in receiving the 17th installment. Therefore, farmers who have not yet completed their e-KYC are urged to do so as soon as possible.
