Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program for his visit to Bihar has been rescheduled once again, but this time he will be visiting Gaya instead of Bettiah. On February 10, he will inaugurate the buildings of the IIM institute spread over 73 acres in Bodh Gaya. The invitation for this event has been extended to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the IIM Bodh Gaya administration. The confirmation for his attendance is yet to be received, but it is highly likely that PM Modi will be present. This is the fourth time that his Bihar visit has been rescheduled.
Established on August 31, 2015, the IIM institute in Bodh Gaya has achieved significant growth over the years. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, companies have shown confidence in the students of IIM Bodh Gaya. The institute has achieved 100% placement for its students. It has also collaborated with Harvard Business School in the United States for research. Many reputed companies have conducted campus selections at the institute. IIM Bodh Gaya specializes in finance, marketing, and HR management. It also offers post-graduate programs in operations, economics, public policy, and organizational behavior. The institute provides training through various educational plans for management skills.
The program for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bihar has been rescheduled three times before. The third date for his Bihar visit was set for February 4 in Bettiah. Initially, he was scheduled to visit Bettiah in Bihar on January 13 before the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. However, the date was later changed to January 27 after the Ram temple ceremony. The date was again changed to February 4, but for some reason, it was postponed. Now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the inauguration of the new campus of IIM Bodh Gaya on February 10.
During his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was supposed to inaugurate the Indian Oil project worth 6500 crores in Sugauli, Bettiah. After the inauguration, he was also scheduled to address a public rally at Ramna Maidan in Bettiah.
The date and location of the Prime Minister’s program have undergone changes. The discussion for the program started for January 13, then it was scheduled for January 27, but later changed to February 4. The selected venue for the program was changed from the ICL terminal in Chapwa Bahaas of Sugauli in East Champaran district to the airstrip area of Bettiah in West Champaran for the program scheduled on February 4.
