Police Investigate the Incident
Police have gathered at the scene near Darbhanga Junction where a freight train derailed near Darbhanga Sitamarhi railway track. This incident has disrupted traffic for nearly five hours. The incident occurred when the freight train was being shunted in the early hours of Wednesday. During this process, three bogies of the freight train derailed at Kangawa Gumti number one. The area was filled with panic and the railway team arrived to try and bring the three bogies back on track.
DM Arrives to Investigate
Upon receiving information about the incident, the District Magistrate of Samastipur Mandal, Vinay Srivastava, also arrived at Darbhanga to assess the situation. He mentioned that the traffic will soon be restored at the railway crossing.
School-Going Children Face Difficulty
It is important to note that while the freight train was being shunted near Darbhanga-Sitamarhi railway track at Kangawa Gumti number one, three bogies of the train derailed between two railway crossings. Although the derailment did not impact rail traffic, the road traffic, including the route to Rani Pur Chuna Bhatti and DV English School, has been affected for nearly five hours. This has caused inconvenience to school children and parents commuting to schools.
दरभंगा जंक्शन के निकट दरभंगा सीतामढ़ी रेलखण्ड के कंगवा गुमटी पर एक मालगाड़ी बेपटरी हो गई। इस कारण पांच घंटे तक सड़क पर आवागमन बाधित हो गया है। बुधवार मध्य रात्रि को मालगाड़ी का सन्टिंग किया जा रहा था और कंगवा गुमटी संख्या एक पर मालगाड़ी की तीन बोगी बेपटरी हो गई। घटना इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया और रेलवे की टीम तीनों बॉगी को पटरी पर लाने के कोशिश में जुट गई। डीआरएम विनय श्रीवास्तव ने घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही समस्तीपुर मंडल के डीआरएम विनय श्रीवास्तव भी दरभंगा पहुंचे और स्थिति का जायजा लिया है। इस कारण स्कूल जाने वाले बच्चे परेशान हो रहे हैं।
