**Police Investigation Underway**
In the Koilavar area of Bhojpur, near Haripur village, a speeding truck on the Ara-Chhapra four-lane road hit two brothers riding a bike. One brother died on the spot, while the other sustained serious injuries. The driver of the truck fled the scene immediately after the accident. Local police reached the spot upon receiving information and sent the body for postmortem to Ara Hospital.
**Returning after giving wedding card**
The deceased, Rajesh Kumar (24), a resident of Rayapur Bindgawan village under the Doriganj police station in Saran district, was the son of late Bijanandan Ram. Rajesh worked at Balu Ghat, while the injured Mukesh Kumar (15) was the cousin of the deceased and the son of Ram Babu Rai from the same village. Mukesh Kumar mentioned that he had gone to distribute Rajesh’s wedding card at their relative’s house in Hardi, Chhapra district of Patna. While returning on a bike with Rajesh, a truck laden with sand from the opposite direction hit them near Haripur village.
**Police Action**
As soon as the locals informed the police about the incident, the local police reached the spot and started the investigation. The surrounding people rushed to help after the accident. The injured Mukesh Kumar was taken to the hospital for treatment. The police are currently trying to locate the driver of the truck who fled the scene after the accident. The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident and take necessary actions.
