First Phase of Lok Sabha Elections in Bihar

Jitan Ram Manjhi criticizes Tejashwi Yadav

He criticized Tejashwi Yadav for allegedly instigating derogatory remarks towards Chirag Paswan’s mother during the rally. Manjhi highlighted the need for maintaining civility and respect in political discourse, especially towards family members of political leaders. He emphasized the importance of upholding dignity and respect in public interactions.
Chirag Paswan’s Response
Chirag Paswan condemned the incident and expressed his disappointment over the behavior displayed in Jamui. He stated that such actions do not reflect the values of a civil society. Paswan highlighted the familial ties between his family and Tejashwi Yadav’s family, emphasizing the need for mutual respect despite political differences. Paswan asserted that he would respond firmly if faced with similar derogatory remarks towards his family members, underscoring the importance of maintaining decorum in political debates.
