Political chaos is prevailing in Bihar ahead of the floor test scheduled for 12th February in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. All political parties are closely monitoring their MLAs and giving them utmost importance. Congress has already sent its MLAs to Hyderabad, while RJD has instructed its MLAs to stay in Patna. Similarly, JDU is also closely monitoring its MLAs. Amidst all this, the Bharatiya Janata Party has sent its MLAs to Bodh Gaya under the pretext of a training camp.

On 10th and 11th February, the Bihar BJP organized a training camp in Bodh Gaya. On 10th February, Home Minister Amit Shah will provide virtual training to the MLAs. All MLAs and councilors of the party will participate in the training camp. On 12th February, during the trust vote, BJP MLAs will directly go to Patna. The camp will also include speeches from other senior leaders apart from the party’s regional organization secretary, state organization secretary, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Vijay Kumar Sinha, and Minister Sah Nagar MLA Dr. Prem Kumar.

There is speculation that this camp is aimed at keeping the BJP MLAs united. However, when asked to the district BJP media in-charge Santosh Kumar, he stated that a two-day training camp has been organized for all Bihar BJP MLAs and councilors on 10th and 11th February at the cultural center in Bodh Gaya. The process of MLAs and councilors coming to Gaya will begin from today. He also mentioned that several MLAs will be accommodated in Gaya Circuit House and hotels in Bodh Gaya.
