In the next 48 hours, there is a possibility of strong winds with a speed of 20-30 kilometers per hour in Patna, Bihar. During this time, the wind can reach speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour. As a result, there may be a decrease of two to four degrees Celsius in both the minimum and maximum temperatures in the state for the next three days. Therefore, it may feel colder than usual during the day and night.
Reasons for Changes in Bihar’s Weather
This change in Bihar’s weather is due to cyclonic circulation and active western disturbance in Jammu and Punjab. IMD predicts a chance of light rain in south-west and south-central Bihar on 11th and 12th February. The highest temperature in the state on Tuesday was lower than normal, while the minimum temperature was higher than normal.
Temperature Variations in Different Cities
The highest temperature in Patna and Gaya was four degrees higher than normal, while the minimum temperature was four degrees lower than normal. In Purnia and Bhagalpur, the maximum temperature was three degrees lower than normal. However, the minimum temperature in Purnia was six degrees higher than normal. As a result, the daytime temperature in south and north Bihar was slightly lower than normal.
Weather Forecast for the Next Five Days
In the next five days, the weather in Bihar’s districts is expected to remain dry. According to the weather department’s forecast, there are chances of normal weather during this period. The maximum temperature is likely to be between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may range from 11 to 14 degrees Celsius. The wind will blow at a speed of three to five kilometers per hour. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature recorded was 21.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 14.1 degrees Celsius.
